How to import 3D model packages
This guide will show you how to import 3D model packages to Thingworx platforms.
Requirements:
- Thingworx platform 8.4.0 or higher
- 3D-visualizr-bundle extensions installed
- Access to 3D Portal
Step by Step Guide:
- Open Colander.FileAdmin mashup
- Set file repository to “3DModels.Default” or a repository of your choosing
- Download the desired model from 3D Portal
- Choose and upload 3D model package .zip file (model.zip)
- Select uploaded package in the file listing
- Press “Import Model Package”
- Confirm that the 3d models have appeared as new things in your thing listing or asset library
